Further to our communications earlier this week, the Directors of Jenner have now taken the proactive and pre-emptive decision to close all our live construction sites today (Wednesday), ahead of any further directive at government level.

COVID-19 Jenner Group Policy – Stakeholder Communication No.4

Date: March 2020

Jenner have a duty of care to protect all our staff and stakeholders and therefore believe this is the correct thing to do as it becomes increasingly difficult to enforce social-distancing on site, purely from the nature of the work happening on our sites and close proximity working required for certain tasks. This coincides with the desire of many of our supply-chain to follow self-isolation procedures, as directed by the government, as well as the decreasing availability of materials to allow them to continue with their trades.

Sites will be instructed to close today with time given over the next few days to ensure sites are fully secured and to allow all our sub-contractors to retrieve any of their possessions on site.

As such valued stakeholders of the Jenner business we do hope that you will understand our reasoning and appreciate that this has been a difficult and carefully considered decision, which focuses first and foremost on our responsibility to keep everyone safe and well and play our part in reducing any further spread of the virus.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and take guidance from the government and communicate our actions with you during this closure. The Directors will of course be on hand to discuss any concerns or questions you may have as a result of our decision.

Our main office is closed and any calls will be directed remotely. We would therefore appreciate your patience in dealing with incoming calls at this time.

Thank you once again, most sincerely, for your ongoing patience, understanding and support.

Please do continue to stay safe and well.

Kind regards

Martin Sandall
