As the situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to escalate, we at Jenner continue to remain vigilant and are proactively monitoring and responding to further government guidelines to ensure the health and wellbeing of all our staff and business stakeholders.

COVID-19 Jenner Group Policy – Stakeholder Communication No.2

Date: March 2020

Currently our Main office (Folkestone) and all sites remain open and operational and you can reach the team in the usual way either by phone or by email. We would ask that you do not visit our office at this time, until further notice. Many staff have been instructed to work remotely to ensure they keep themselves and their loved ones safe and minimise risk. Those who continue to remain within the office, to ensure we can continue in a ‘business as usual’ manner as much as possible, have been instructed to strictly adhere to social-distancing guidelines and reduce contact with their colleagues. We are also introducing a rota system for those working within an open-plan environment to reduce proximity to others and therefore exposure to infection.

Alongside government guidelines and our previous instructions for heightened hygiene, increased cleaning and self-isolation, we will be adopting the following measures to ensure our staff, suppliers, sub-contract supply-chain, clients and their consultant teams continue to remain safe and well:

Meetings / Business Networking:

Only business critical meetings continue at present and remotely, via conferencing facilities, whenever possible. Visits to our sites by internal support teams have been dramatically reduced and only take place where essential.

Site Operations:

All our sites remain fully operational at present. This heightens the importance for our management to employ a zero-tolerance approach to risk of infection. We have today reaffirmed to our site managers their right to refuse access to their sites for anyone within our supply chain showing symptoms or who they feel may put others at risk.

Sites will utilise all available accommodation to ensure the minimum standards for social-distancing are adhered to and enhanced cleaning measures are in place.
We will continue to keep you updated with the company’s plans and response to the spread of COVID19 as it develops and once again thank you for your patience at this time.

Kind regards

Martin Sandall
