7 Apartments, Saltwood (Juniper Cottage)

The development included construction of five 2-bedroom apartments and two 1-bedroom apartments, as well as the demolition of the existing derelict buildings on the site, former dwellings known as Pennings and Juniper Cottage, and hence how the contract was know to Jenner by this name.

The construction included piled foundations, with traditional masonry external walls, precast concrete floor planks and a plain tiled pitched roof and was carefully design to sympathetically reflect its rural surroundings.  

Logistically, the site was tight and incredibly challenging with no room for onsite materials storage, which considerably prolonged the external works programme.

The project completed in December 2022.
