Joy Lane Primary School, Whitstable

Procured off the Kent County Council Contractors Framework, this project saw the extension of Joy Lane Primary School with a two storey building to enable it to become a three form entry school.

Now completed, the School benefits from additional classrooms and ancillary areas, new playground areas, greater number of car parking spaces and a new access route into the school.

The project also included the demolition of a now defunct care home on the adjacent site.

The nature of this project meant we had to prepare in depth logistics plans and provide a temporary classroom for pupils throughout the works.
