The development of Ozengell Place represents further partnership working with our much-valued, longstanding client Moat Homes to deliver essential affordable new homes to the Thanet region.

Following the identification of the site back in 2023, this ‘land and build’ opportunity was presented to Moat and has subsequently delivered 23no new homes, a mix of 2- and 3-bedroom houses and 15no 1- and 2-bedroom apartments,  for social rent to residents in the local area. This means that those on the council's housing list and in temporary accommodation can now enjoy a better quality of life and a permanent place to call home. 

Developing a former greenfield site, the homes of traditional masonry construction have been constructed under the new Building Regulations updated in March 2023 and include air source heat pumps to ensure energy efficiencies and reduce operational costs for their new residents, ultimately delivering maximum affordability. The installation of EV charging points future-proofs the attractive development of the 38 new homes nestled behind a local SEN school and designed in harmony with its surrounding landscape.  

Jenner were delighted to work with Employer’s Agent Martin Arnold and Architects TaylorHare to deliver the scheme, which was officially opened on Friday 25th May by the Head of Housing and Planning at Thanet District Council - Ashley Jackson.
