Following the success of the working relationships established at Amberstone Road on behalf of Clarion Housing, Jenner were introduced to Optivo via V10 New Homes, to progress on a negotiated basis.

The scheme, as schematically outlined (right), will deliver a total of 160 new residential units, which consists of 143 houses, 15 bungalows and 2 apartments.

Contracted since June 2019, Jenner have taken the scheme through Reserved Matters Approval with enabling works now underway and with an anticipated three-year build programme.

The homes will be of mixed tenure for affordable rent, shared ownership and private sale, built mainly over two storeys and all of timber frame construction with elevations in brick, render, weatherboarding & flint block.

Development of the scheme includes all off-site highways works, elevating and levelling across the whole site, off-site drainage connections, installation of SUDS as well as construction of a new pumping station, electric substation and at least wheelchair units.
